General
When you shop online, you are subject to the terms and conditions of www.guldsmeddorthebak.com.

Therefore, we recommend that you always read these terms before shopping in our webshop at www.guldsmeddorthebak.com.

We reserve the right for price and printing errors and sold-out items.

An order is only binding when approved by the seller with an order confirmation via email.


Payment
All amounts on www.guldsmeddorthebak.com are in DKK – Danish kroner and include VAT.

www.guldsmeddorthebak.com accepts payment with:
* Visa-Dankort
* Visa
* MasterCard

Payment will only be charged to your account when the item is shipped from our warehouse.


Delivery

Items will arrive within 3-14 business days, unless otherwise agreed for special orders and custom requests.

We are only interested in ensuring that our jewellery has been handled well during transport. Therefore, please check the package content upon receipt.

If the package and/or content is damaged upon receipt, you must report this immediately – and no later than 4 days after receipt – to us or the shipping company. Afterwards, return the item, unused, in original packaging.

www.guldsmeddorthebak.com is not responsible for items damaged during transport.

However, we guarantee that we always pack the items securely.


Right to complain
The Danish Sale of Goods Act's rules on defects may apply to purchases of goods.

When you shop with us as a consumer, you have a 24-month right to complain. This means that you can either have the item exchanged, your money back, or a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour.
 
You must complain within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect in the item. If you complain within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be timely.
 
If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be sent back in proper packaging, and remember to get a receipt for shipment so that we can reimburse your shipping costs.

When returning the item, please describe the problem as detailed as possible.
Packages sent cash on delivery are not accepted.


Information on complaint options
A complaint about a product or service purchased from us can be submitted to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's Centre for Complaint Resolution, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Centre for Complaint Resolution via www.forbrug.dk.


Refund

If a refund has been agreed upon, please send bank details with the package or by e-mail so that we can transfer the agreed amount as quickly as possible.


Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day full right of return on items purchased in our webshop at www.guldsmeddorthebak.com. The period is calculated from the day you receive the order. The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made jewellery. You are responsible for the return costs.

Cancellation must be reported to us no later than 14 days after the purchase, and from the cancellation, you must return the shipment no later than 7 days afterwards.

The notification must be given by email to kontakt@guldsmeddorthebak.com.

In the notification, you must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.


Return of the item and return costs

If you have regretted the purchase of an item, you must send or deliver the item to:

The item must be returned without undue delay and no later than 7 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiry of the 7 days.

Please note that we do not accept items sent cash on delivery.

You must pay postage and any other expenses associated with the return.

When returning, you are responsible for ensuring the item is properly packaged.

You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery.

You are responsible for ensuring the package arrives at our warehouse. We therefore recommend that you use track and trace so you can follow the package at all times.

The costs for returning within Denmark up to 2 kg are expected to amount to a maximum of approximately DKK 70, provided the item is sent as a parcel.


Refund of money

When you cancel the entire purchase, we will refund all payments received from you.

We will refund the amount without undue delay once we have received the returned items and approved that the item is unused and in good condition.

We will make such a refund by bank transfer to a bank account. We do not transfer amounts to other persons or their bank accounts.
You will not be charged any fees as a result of the refund.


Condition of the item when you return it

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item that is due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item.

In other words – you can try the item in the same way as you would in a physical store.

If the item has been used beyond what is described above, we consider it used, which means that upon cancellation of the purchase, you will only receive a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item.

To receive the full purchase amount back, you must do the same as you would in a physical store.

You may test the item, but not actually use it.

For you as a customer to enter into a transaction with www.guldsmeddorthrbak.com, we need the following information: Name, address, phone number, and email address. The collection of this information is necessary for us to deliver the item to you.
